We are a Covid-Safe business.

We have submitted a COVID Safety Plan to the government and registered as a COVID-Safe business.

In light of this, we will need to make sure that we are all adhering to the increased and existing safety protocols. These are:

 

COVID-19 Safety Hygiene Marshal

We will have a Safety Hygiene Marshal at all times.

Social distancing

Maintain adequate social distancing (1.5m apart) unless you are from the same household.

No reservation, no participation.

We have a strict no reservation, no participation policy. This ensures we can safely manage class sizes and provide everyone a fair process to book in for classes. 

As per restrictions, there will be a maximum of 14 people per class and a maximum of 3 people for weightlifting/open gym space (one per platform).

You will be able to reserve for classes 3 days before the class is scheduled to take place. A waitlist function is set up in Wodify to notify people if a spot becomes available. This includes any HRDKAW Weightlifters wishing to do weightlifting during a class. 

Entry/exit

There will be hand sanitiser at both locations. Please remember to santise on the way in and way out. 

Temperature Checks

We are now required to take your temperature before you come into a class. We will have a contactless thermometer which the coach will use before you start. If your temperature is 38 degrees or above you will be asked to leave and see your doctor.

Hygiene - Cleaning and Disinfecting

We have allocated an extra 5 minutes after each class to ensure that all equipment has been cleaned, packed away and the floor is empty for the next class. When you participate in a class please: disinfect all equipment used, wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water, and please don't forget your clothing and personal items.

Using your own devices

You will be required to use your own devices (e.g. phone) to reserve and sign in. This is to limit high-touch areas as only the coach will be allowed to use the mouse, keyboard and tablet. 

Sharing equipment

We still believe in partner WODs and have no plans to remove them from our program. Instead we will be altering them to ensure that there is minimal sharing of equipment.

Please bring a towel and chalk

We ask that you bring chalk and a towel to each class. We are initially going to provide chalk then will have some on hand for purchase thereafter.

Children

Children will be allowed to stay in the front room. They will have to bring their own toys as the current toys at the gym will be disposed.  Parents, please disinfect the contact areas before leaving.
